All EBC brake discs are manufactured from grey cast iron conforming to OE specifications, exactly like those used in new car production, and, as far as we have the molds, they are MADE IN THE UK , entirely in our own British foundry.
Currently, ALL discs sold in Europe and the UK are manufactured in the UK , and the majority of models specific to the US are also manufactured there.

The British foundry is constantly expanding its range of in-house tooling, but, like all brake manufacturers, EBC sometimes has to purchase certain discs from approved sources to supplement its range in foreign markets. None of our competitors will tell you where their discs come from, and, like the rest of the world, we are disappointed that cost pressures have led to the complete absence of foundries in the United States to supply these types of parts. Other brake brands, when questioned about their origin, simply dodge the issue.

When we purchase discs from outside, they are specified, sampled, tested for elemental analysis, grain structure, tensile strength, hardness and optimal ductility, and each piece is individually tested (100%) to guarantee a perfect warp using our in-house machine.
